Chelsea goalkeeper Emi Martinez has confirmed he will be back “in a few weeks” after undergoing an operation.

Martinez was taken to hospital during Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Everton on Saturday after a nasty clash of heads with Jarrad Branthwaite in the second half, which required both players to receive treatment.
