Since Todd Boehly completed his takeover of Chelsea Football Club, the off-field matters have been – let's be honest – absolutely bonkers.
Chelsea have spent around £375million on transfer-related activity, bringing an astonishing 13 players in during Boehly's one-and-a-half transfer windows at the club. This month so far has seen five signings already, with David Datro Fofana, Benoit Badiashile, Andrey Santos, Joao Felix and Mykhailo Mudryk all moving to Stamford Bridge.
Usually the January transfer window is associated with being a bit of a quieter period than what we see in the summer, but Boehly and Co. obviously didn't get the memo. Five signings in and Chelsea do not even look like they are close to being done.

The west London club are in ongoing talks with PSV Eindhoven over the signing of Noni Madueke. Chelsea want to bring the 20-year-old to Stamford Bridge but may have to pay around the €45million (£39.9million) mark for the Dutch club to even consider a deal.
Many thought after signing Mudryk and Felix in the past week, a deal to sign Madueke could be off the cards. However, football.london understands that is not the case and Chelsea still want to sign the PSV attacker this month.
If that is the case and the Blues do end up signing three attackers in January, then it could have an impact on the players they currently have at their disposal. With that said, football.london brings you the latest on potential player sales.
Callum Hudson-Odoi
The 22-year-old is around halfway through his season-long loan spell with German club Bayer Leverkusen. Hudson-Odoi has played 15 times for Leverkusen in all competitions – scoring the one goal – as he looks to continue his development with regular football after struggling to cement a space in the Chelsea first-team.
After completing the move to Germany, Hudson-Odoi revealed that he had a conversation with Boehly where the American assured him that he has a long-term future at Stamford Bridge. However, Boehly could not have envisaged the changes within the Chelsea squad since that conversation. As mentioned above, there could be three new attackers this month – and that's not even to mention Christopher Nkunku who has signed an agreement to become a Chelsea player at the end of the season.
Hudson-Odoi has bags of potential, there's no doubt about that but unless he can settle for being a cover at wing-back, then there appears to be no clear future for him in west London unfortunately. When the summer rolls around, the Cobham graduate will have just 12 months remaining on his contract and there could be a sale in order to get some sort of money for his services.
Hakim Ziyech
The 29-year-old winger, up until the World Cup break, spent the majority of games as a substitute and was unable to prove his worth to Graham Potter. But Ziyech has featured five times since returning from Qatar – including playing a starring role in Chelsea's 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
Chelsea supporters are seeing a positive and confident Ziyech now, but there's always a feeling that he can offer so much more. It was quite a surprise when the Moroccan didn't leave the club last summer after months of speculation over his future.
football.london understands Ziyech did want to leave Stamford Bridge last summer, with the likes of AC Milan and former club Ajax both interested. The winger stayed put, though, and does not look likely to leave this month.
A summer transfer is more likely, however. With the attackers Chelsea have brought in, it does put a question mark over the former Ajax attacker's future. His contract runs out in 2025, so this summer could be a pivotal period for Ziyech.
Christian Pulisic
The 24-year-old winger, like Hudson-Odoi, will have 12 months remaining on his deal when the summer comes around. The American is currently sidelined for a couple of months after picking up an injury against Manchester City recently.
Pulisic was set for a big second half of the season in terms of his Chelsea career, but will now miss a large portion of that due to injury. He's been constantly linked with a move away from west London over the past couple of seasons and while he won't be going anywhere this month, an exit in the summer is a strong possibility.
Chelsea will need to decide whether they want to negotiate fresh terms with Pulisic or if they would like to part ways and get a decent fee while they can. The likes of Mudryk, Felix and possibly Madueke coming in will be a blow for Pulisic when he does return from injury.
As well as this, Raheem Sterling, who picked up an injury in the same game as Pulisic, is set to be back before his teammate, leaving another space in the attacking setup occupied. Pulisic will not be short of offers when the season ends and he could well call time on his stay at Stamford Bridge.
