Chelsea consider Nicolo Barella
Chelsea are reportedly considering a move for Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella, according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato. The two clubs are said to have a strong relationship after the Blues allowed Romelu Lukaku to return to Inter Milan last summer.
There are doubts concerning Connor Gallagher, as it remains to be se seen whether he can step up to the standards of Chelsea after returning from a loan spell at Crystal Palace. This could be another incentive to complete a deal for Barella.

Chelsea have been linked to many players recently as Todd Boehly looks to strengthen Thomas Tuchel’s options ahead of the new season. Barella could be one of the players to make their debut at Stamford Bridge before the end of August.
Chelsea include buy-back option for Levi Colwill
Chelsea youngster Levi Colwill is set to join Brighton on a permanent deal this summer, football.london understands. The 19-year-old has been of interest to a number of Premier League clubs following his return to Cobham, however it appears as though the Seagulls have won the race.
The move to the south coast for the centre-back is set to come after defender Marc Cucurella moves to Stamford Bridge from the Amex stadium. football.london has been told that a deal has been agreed with Brighton for the Spaniard, worth over £50million after personal terms were already settled upon.
Should he become an elite prospect, the Blues may have covered their backs where they missed out last time, with Fabrizio Romano claiming that a buyback clause will be included in the deal. It could see Chelsea move again for the youngster in the future, where they have missed out on doing so in the past.
Chelsea enter Frenkie De Jong race
According to The Athletic, Chelsea have opened direct talks with Barcelona and are optimistic about striking a deal for Frenkie de Jong.
football.london understands Chelsea have a long-term interest in de Jong, and now the club are actively pursuing a deal for the 25-year-old.
