Chelsea captain Conor Gallagher has responded to the young fan at the Emirates Stadium who asked for the players to "fight for the shirt" during defeat to Arsenal.
The Blues were blown away 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium as the Gunners ran riot to put themselves firmly back in the Premier League title race.
As the scoreline got worse and worse for Chelsea, TV cameras picked up a young fan holding a sign which read: "I don't want your shirt, I want to you want to fight for yours."
Asked by TNT Sport to respond to the fan, Gallagher said: "We definitely are putting the effort in, I know how much it means to all the boys.

"It's a very young squad with not much experience as a team in the Premier League. As you’ve seen this season, we've had a lot of ups and a lot of downs.
"We're still improving and working together as a team to get to that next level.
"Today is one of those days when we were nowhere near it. We need to dust ourselves off, look at the performance and where we need to improve, and all the mistakes we made where we can put it right."
