Chelsea have completed the signing of talented youngster Jimmy-Jay Morgan from Southampton in a £3million deal. The 17-year-old will join the Stamford Bridge club on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
Morgan is set to return to Chelsea having been part of their academy from the age of eight. The talented striker will join Chelsea’s academy and continue his development after scoring 27 goals for Southampton Under-16s side last season - along with their Under-18s and bagging 13 goals.
The youngster has continued his brilliant goal scoring form into this season, scoring six goals and providing five assists in 13 youth appearances, but he will face a lot of competition for a first team spot in Graham Potter's squad. Todd Boehly spent over £300million in the January transfer window, bringing in the likes of Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke.
