A 6ft 3ins defensive midfielder sounds like a player that Chelsea could use. Declan Rice or Aurelien Tchouameni would be the obvious and ideal candidates but how about a much cheaper alternative.
And when we say cheap, we mean free. Boubacar Kamara, Marseille's prize defensive midfielder has refused to sign a new contract in hopes to sign with a big club this summer. A signing like this will solve any issues with a Rice or Tchouameni transfer as the club will still be able to focus on strengthening other areas this summer.
Alongside Tchouameni, Kamara is one of the most sought-after young midfielders in Europe right now having acquired interest from Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and AC Milan. Considering the number of reinforcements that may be needed in Chelsea's transfer window it would be a smart move for the Blues to consider.
