Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel responds to Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi transfer talk

Thomas Tuchel has played down speculation over the futures of Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi. The Chelsea duo have both been strongly linked with moves away from the club before the summer transfer window closes.

Pulisic has been linked with Manchester United this week and football.london understands the USA international does want to leave Stamford Bridge. Likewise, Hudson-Odoi, who has plenty of interest from several clubs in England and abroad, is looking for a move away.

"I know there is a lot of talk," Tuchel said on rumours over his players' future. "We will not comment on our players [leaving].

"We had two training sessions with 18 players in a schedule where we play once a week. We have what we have, we know what we're looking for and only from there we can think about players leaving."

Tuchel was also asked about if there are any more incomings set to come through the door before the deadline in less than two weeks' time. Talks are ongoing for deals to sign Wesley Fofana and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but Tuchel did not want to get too dwelled down on speculation.

Asked if he was concerned about the lack of incomings, Tuchel replied: "No, the opposite of frustrated after last week's match. I'm very happy and confident after last week's performance.

"Like I told you, we work together about the reinforcements but it is never easy and it's not like we can wish for something and it happens. As long as transfer window is open, there are possibilities. The focus is on what we have and not what we could have. The team get the full attention."
