The Premier League season is just days away as club prepare for yet another long campaign, with a few differences. Chelsea and Tottenham are among the sides impacted by changes ahead of the new season, with both competing in the Champions League once again.
For the Blues, it comes after a long and tough summer, with struggles in pre-season results as well as difficulties landing their preferred transfer targets. Three additions have been made so far, but boss Thomas Tuchel was unsure how prepared his side would be come the first game against Everton.
“I cannot guarantee we will be ready [for the start of the season] in two weeks," the German coach said. It's the same players so why should anything change?"
