Chelsea's bank accounts have reportedly been frozen this evening as owner Roman Abramovich has been hit by fresh sanctions.
The UK Government is currently sanctioning the Blues' owner following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Times is reporting that Chelsea players and staff are now concerned about their futures at the club.
Chelsea were given a licence by the government yesterday to carry on 'football-related' activities. However, according to sources at the club, corporate accounts, including credit cards, have been frozen because banks are being 'risk-averse'.
