Boston Celtics superstar Jaylen Brown is reportedly considering entering the 2024 NBA slam dunk contest held February 17 in Indianapolis. Brown is already set to participate in his third All-Star Game that weekend, and would become the fifth Celtic to ever suit up for the dunk contest if he does indeed take part.
Brown stands 6-foot-6, and is among the most prolific dunkers in the NBA. In particular, the Georgia native has a knack for emphatic breakaway slams. That doesn’t necessarily mean he has what it takes to win the dunk contest. Walking away the victor will take a combination of creativity, athleticism, and showmanship.
So, does Brown have what it takes? Check out this highlight real of his best dunks from the 2023-24 season, courtesy of NBC Sports Boston, and decide for yourself.
