The cheapest supermarket in the UK has been revealed.
Consumer group Which? has found that Aldi is £25.38 cheaper than the most expensive supermarket, Waitrose, for an equivalent basket of items. In Which's monthly cheapest supermarket price comparison, they looked at the cost of a basket of 48 items, including groceries and household essentials.
Aldi came in cheapest at just £75.79. The same shopping cost £16.93 more at Morrisons and £10.42 more at Tesco.
