Fuel prices in Bristol have either remained the same as yesterday's figures or have risen, according to a fuel comparison site.
With fuel prices now at record highs, many are worried that they simply won't be able to afford fuel for much longer and the government is under immense pressure to try and alleviate some of this stress by bringing prices down.
In Bristol alone, the cheapest price for petrol today stands at 161.9p per litre, while diesel is now at 174.9p, according to figures on Petrolprices.com.

Texaco Bell Hill Road has seen an increase in its petrol prices from 161.9p yesterday, to 163.9p today. Morrisons Fishponds petrol prices have also gone from 162.9p to 163.9p in just one day.
It's hoped that Chancellor Rishi Sunak may be set to announce a 5p cut to fuel duty in his Spring Statement tomorrow (Wednesday, March 23) but members of the opposition have called for him to go further.
Yesterday, Bristol Live reported that the AA was warning that, despite the wholesale price of petrol and diesel falling, such savings have yet to be passed on to customers.
