Scots drivers are continuing to feel the crunch of the cost of living crisis, as petrol prices at forecourts across the country have once again risen.
Latest figures from the RAC have suggested the average price of petrol for this week has since surpassed the previous high of 182.31 per litre. According to the latest figures published on Monday, June 20, the average price of petrol is now 188.74, while the average cost of diesel is now 196.36.
Motorists could continue to see rising prices at the petrol pumps due to a number of factors, including Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine, a ban on Russian imported oil and rising inflation rates. It is the latest surge in prices, with increases in household energy bills and supermarket prices following the current cost of living crisis.
