Cheapest petrol prices at Asda, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Tesco in Bristol

As the cost of living crisis continues to worsen, basic necessities are getting more expensive and are impacting the lowest paid and the most vulnerable. Tax rises, energy price rises, and the rising cost of living is causing huge worry.

Adding to that is the price of fuel as well - petrol and diesel prices are at their highest ever. According to the RAC, the current average price of unleaded petrol is 147.44p per litre.

Diesel, meanwhile, is 150.98p per litre. Both are record highs, though petrol is forecast to come down at some point. There is no forecast for diesel at present.
