Scots looking to fly off and soak up some summer sun have a variety of options this month.
A popular destination is Spain, and for good reason — featuring hundreds of world-class beaches, a diverse culture, and, of course, sunshine and warmth.
While to get the best prices for flights, you usually need to book far in advance, there are still good deals to be had for those looking for a last-minute break.

The most popular cities in Spain are unsurprisingly more expensive to fly to, but some lesser-known destinations can be booked for a very low price.
Here is a rundown of the cheapest flights from Glasgow Airport to Spain in June, using data from Skyscanner.
Madrid
Being the capital of Spain, as well as its most populous city, Madrid is expectedly one of the more pricey destinations to fly to in Spain.
If you have your heart set on the hustle and bustle, though, flights may not be quite as expensive as you might expect.
According to Skyscanner, the cheapest return tickets that can be booked this month are £105.
Barcelona
Considering it is the second biggest city in the country, you may be surprised to learn how much cheaper it is to fly to Barcelona than Madrid this month.
Prices start at just £53 for a return — almost exactly half of a trip to Madrid.
Unless you want to go to Madrid for a specific reason, Barcelona may be a more sensible option this month.
Palma
According to Skyscanner, Palma is the cheapest Spanish destination to fly to this month.
With prices starting at £50, the capital of Mallorca could be your best option if you aren't fussed about being in a city and would rather lie on the beach.
Alicante
Known for its epic nightlife and Mediterranean beaches, the port city of Alicante in Costa Blanca is definitely worth considering if you're after a bit of excitement.
Particular highlights include the Castillo de Santa Barbara castle, Guadalest Valley, and Platja del Postiguet.
Prices on Skyscanner in June begin at £72, so not bad at all.
Lanzarote
If it's a trip to the Canary Islands you're after, you can't go wrong with Lanzarote.
With prices starting at £76 on Skyscanner, it's not among the cheapest Spanish destinations you can fly to this month.
However, it offers a bit of everything — from the stunning scenery of the Timanfaya National Park to some of the best bars and nightclubs the Canaries have to offer.
