If you missed out on a summer getaway, there are still cheap getaways to grab from Glasgow Airport in September.
Over the last few months, airports have seen a surge of holidaymakers as the peak season hit. Airports are now reporting that the footfall is returning to normal now schools are back.
Although we have enjoyed an overall warm summer, many won't want to say goodbye to the nice weather just yet and a holiday abroad in September is a great way to postpone the winter blues.

Looking on Skyskanner, we've found cheap flights from Glasgow Airport to Ireland, Belgium and Croatia.
Ireland
While it may not offer a different climate, Ireland offers a home-from-home feel for many. Whether it's a weekend city break in Dublin or an escape to the countryside, you can pick up a return ticket to Dublin for just £15.
The Ryanair flight leaves Glasgow on 10.10pm on Thursday September 1 and you touch down in Dublin an hour later.
The flight back is on Sunday at 7.15am. Of course, with Ryanair, there are restrictions on luggage unless you want to pay extra. However if you are only going for a weekend, a rucksack should be enough so you can keep your flight at a cheap price.
Belgium
For just £24, you can get to Brussels in Belgium from Glasgow Airport and back.
Again, with Ryanair, you can enjoy a week in Belgium where the weather can reach an average of 19C in September. The flight takes off on September 10 at 11.30am and you land at 2.10.
On return, you take off from Brussels South Charleroi Airport, back to Glasgow on September 17 at 10.30am and arrive at 11.05am.
Croatia
If you're looking for another European city break, Zagreb in Croatia is known for its Austro-Hungarian architecture and you can jet off for £35 from Glasgow Airport.
There is a transfer at Belgium so the journey from Glasgow, so you have a whole 24 hours in Brussels to enjoy.
The Ryanair flight takes off at 11.30am on Saturday September 17 and you can enjoy two weeks of a European city break - and even time to explore other parts of the country or Europe with all that time.
The return flight is on September 30 at 6.55pm and a change in Brussels is scheduled again.
