If you didn't book a trip abroad this summer and are starting to feel 'FOMO' as you spot your friend's pictures on Instagram, fear not - there are still cheap flights available.
August is of course peak summer time so the cheap £30 flights are rare to come by, but we reckon anything under £100 return is reasonable for this time of the season. With a quick look on Skyskanner.net, a bunch of getaways appear with flights under £60 from Glasgow Airport
But the first price shown is often an estimate and the cheaper flights can sometimes involve a change making the journey longer. So we clicked through to find the quickest flights to holiday hotspots so you can get more bang for your buck.

First listed are flights to Ireland for a mere £21. While you won't get that abroad feeling with it being such a home-from-home for many, flights are dirt cheap with Ryanair and we couldn't ignore it. It is also worth noting that the flight prices don't include luggage, but there are nifty ways to pack a standard rucksack which will allow you to keep your overall price down.
As well as Ireland, Skyskanner also shared cheap flights to France, Spain and Portugal.
Palma, Spain
Now this is a real find. In August you can fly to Spain for £53 and stay for 10 days. You can fly from Glasgow Prestwick to Palma, Majorca on August 8 and return August 18.
The flight takes off at 7.10pm and lands in Majorca at 10.55pm. On return, you leave at 6.26pm and land back at Glasgow Prestwick Airport at 8.20pm. Other flights shown on those dates cost over £100.
Paris, France
From Glasgow Airport, you can fly to Paris on August 3 - 10 for £80. With Vueling, you take off at 7.50am and land at 10.45am.
It's an early start for the return flight, with take off at 6.10am, arriving back in Glasgow for 7am, in time for breakfast.
Faro, Portugal
If you're looking for a week in Portugal, you can grab a return flight from Glasgow International Airport for £67 with easyJet.
The three-hour flight takes off at 4.50pm and lands at 8.05pm. You wouldn't miss much as that's when the city comes to life.
On return, you still have most of the day to enjoy Portugal, with the flight leaving at 8.40pm and arriving back in Glasgow at 11.55pm.
