A surge in accommodation prices and a lack of supply have fuelled Britain's private rental market, making it tough for Generation Rent.
According to Rightmove, the average rent for a property outside London is now £1,162 per calendar month, whereas within Greater London, the average rent is a colossal £2,343 per calendar month.
Recently, an ONS (Office for National Statistics) survey revealed that the cost of living crisis is a worry for almost 77% of British residents.
