Charlton Athletic boss Dean Holden is confident Jojo Wollacott's move to Hibs was the correct choice for both player and club, as he is adamant it will put the keeper 'back in the spotlight.'
The Ghanaian international signed a three-year deal with the Hibees and is set to challenge David Marshall for the starting berth at Easter Road next season.
The 26-year-old has spent the majority of his career England, while also spending a brief stint away at Bergsøy in Norway, but is familiar with the Hibs gaffer Lee Johnson.

Wollacott was initially on Bristol City’s books as part of Johnson's squad and would go on to complete several loan spells during that time.
He ran out for the likes of Weymouth, Clevedon Town, Truro City, Gloucester City, and Forest Green Rovers before eventually moving to Swindon Town permanently in 2022.
A broken finger before the World Cup with the Black Stars stalled his run under then Addicks boss Ben Garner, and couldn't shunt Ashley Maynard-Brewer out of the starting XI upon his return to action.
But current boss Holden is delighted to see Wollacott get his chance to shine in Edinburgh. “I have known Jojo for a long time – I worked with him at Bristol City," Holden told the South London Press.
"It was terrible timing with the injury before the World Cup – he’s got huge ambitions to get back into that Ghana team. I have got a good relationship with him, so we spoke open and honestly.
"I came in and Ash became my number one choice. Craig MacGillivray left in January and Jojo became number two, effectively. Jojo knows where he stands.
"I think it’s the right move for us and for Jojo as well. It’s a good division – I have played there myself. Hibs are a big club in a fantastic city.
"It will put him back in the spotlight. It allows us to freshen up the goalkeeper options and bring someone in who can challenge Ash."
Wollacott said after joining Hibs: "Obviously the gaffer was the manager at Bristol City, which is where I was a few years ago, so him signing me is a statement in itself, because it shows his trust and belief in me.
"He played a massive part in my development at Bristol, so I want to repay that."
