Princess Charlotte is becoming the 'stand-out star' of the Royal Family and demonstrating that she knows just how a young aristocrat should act, a body language expert has said.
Across the three-day celebrations of the Coronation weekend, the eight-year-old has shone in the spotlight and helped her siblings navigate their services in the public eye.
Charlotte, who is the second eldest of Kate and William's three children, attended the service at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, where she used up all her energy "making sure her little brother behaved".
She also enjoyed the concert last night - but despite cheeky Prince Louis not attending, Charlotte was still in 'big-sister mode' with her older brother, Prince George.
Judi James told the Mirror that Charlotte exhibited her role as "royal prefect" when she showed George how to wave his flag and ensure that he was paying attention to their dad's speech.
The expert said that numerous body language signs have indicated Charlotte is naturally falling into the leading role of the trio.
Walking into the church on Saturday, Charlotte could be seen with her hand on top of her brother's while she bowed her head, as the excited Prince looked on.
She then shared her book with little Louis and answered his questions, before showing him how to politely wave on the balcony with the newly-crowned King and Queen.
When the Prince of Wales appeared on stage, Charlotte perked up immediately, looking excited and gesturing to her brother to look at their dad, pointing over to the stage.
Ms James said: "Charlotte's deep, perfect curtsey as the King walked past in the royal box was only one body language sign that she is becoming a stand-out star of the royal firm.
"She snapped into duty as royal prefect as soon as she sat down, waving her bangle and her flag at her brother George to show him how he should use them during the concert."
She continued: "Charlotte and George were on their feet dancing to Lionel Richie but it was when William walked out on stage that Charlotte really took over, looking back down the row of seats to check everyone had seen her dad and then pointing her flag at the stage to make sure they looked.
"When George didn't react enough she even stood up, jabbing her flag in William's direction again and shouting at her brother excitedly to pay attention."
Before the Coronation celebrations began, royal mum-of-three Kate revealed that her trio were "nervous but excited" to crowds outside Buckingham Palace.
She said: "They're really well, thank you. Excited, a bit nervous, obviously, with a big day ahead. Can't wait."
William then updated royal fans at the Big Lunch when he told them that Charlotte was feeling "tired" after playing her role as big sister on Saturday.
"She's very tired after yesterday. She's having a quiet day at home. It was making sure her little brother behaved herself," he said.
