Charlotte Dawson praised for showing 'real' pregnancy life as she addresses fans' concern

Charlotte Dawson has been praised by her followers as she gave a glimpse into her second pregnancy. The former Ex On The Beach star announced last week that she and her fiancé Matthew Sarsfield are preparing to welcome their 'rainbow baby' after suffering a heartbreaking miscarriage.

The couple revealed the joyous news that "three will become four" after they welcomed their son in 2020. Charlotte told fans that her family is growing with a little brother or a sister for two-year-old Noah. She wrote on her Instagram: "We’ve been keeping a very very BIG SECRET!!!! When 3 become 4… we are just over the moon to grow our little fambo.

"I know how supportive you all have been with my miscarriage last year.. & you’ve all wanted me to have another baba!! It’s been tough since we lost our little cherub, but this has been perfect timing for our rainbow babay." Charlotte, 30, added: "Can’t wait for Noah to be a big brother. Overwhelmed with all the love, support & messages will try my best & get back to you all."

Charlotte has since been showing off her blossoming baby bump on social media and bared her stomach in one of her latest snaps as she tucked into a tray of chips and gravy. The 30-year-old, who is the daughter of late comedian Les Dawson from Collyhurst, could be seen donning a pair of chocolate brown leggings with a matching hoodie which she lifted up to expose her stomach.

With her long locks tied up into a messy bun on top of her head, Charlotte pouted towards her bump as she pretended to feed her unborn child some of her chippy tea. "There was too much glamness pregnancy on me feed… have some real preggo lyf ere…" she penned alongside the snap.

"Feeding bumpalicious chips n gravehhh it makes us happen," she added. And fans were quick to comment and praise Charlotte for being down-to-earth when it comes to what she shows on social media about her life.

Some, however, were concerned for Charlotte after she almost suffered with her health during her first pregnancy with Noah. She was diagnosed with gestational diabetes when she was pregnant, a common condition that affects one in 20 pregnant women. She believed the condition was just part of her pregnancy and returned to her usual diet including her favourite chips and gravy after giving birth.

But Charlotte, the daughter of the late comedian Les Dawson, was told to clean up her diet during a trip to the doctor after she felt 'a bit funny' and was told she was still at risk of type two diabetes, a condition that causes the level of sugar in the blood to become too high and can lead to stroke, blindness, heart disease, kidney failure, limb amputation and early death.

@nicksie_123 said: "Do you have gestational diabetes on your second. I only had it on my first not my second. Curious to know because they say once you have it youll always get it when preg." @miss_natalies_artwork wrote: "Hoping you don’t end up with the gestational diabetes this time. My 2nd pregnancy and I’ve got it again. So unlucky." @em.millee added: "Please watch what you’re eating. Having had gestational diabetes with Noah, you really should be more careful about what you put in your body."

But on Wednesday (March 1), Charlotte shared on her Instagram Story that she was at the hospital undergoing tests to see if she had gestational diabetes. Later, posting a tired-looking selfie, she wrote: "Really feeling exhausted today... Listening to my body. I had so much [to do] today whilst Noah is at nursery but I feel so drained. Will let you all know when I get my GD results. Thank you all for your messages. Love you all."
