Charlotte Dawson arrives at Manchester Airport with can of gin and hair in rollers as she jets off to Rome with her fiance

Charlotte Dawson was all smiles alongside her fiance Matt Sarsfield as they arrived at Manchester Airport for a trip to Italy. Holding a can of pink gin and wearing her hair in rollers, the glam reality star arrived in style in a chauffeur driven car.

The former Celebs Go Dating and Ex On The Beach star dressed for the flight ahead in a comfy cream sweatshirt and shorts with Louis Vuitton sliders. And the mum-of-one beamed as she held hands with her man as they wheeled their luggage including a personalised 'Dawsy' suitcase.

The doting parents of toddler Noah, who they welcomed in January 2021, looked loved-up as they headed off on a romantic getaway to Rome for a wedding. Charlotte said yesterday (Sunday August 26): "I can’t believe we are leaving our cherub tomorrow for 5 nights as we go to Rome for our friends wedding!! Gonna miss him so much."

"They say it takes a month to change a habit but I reckon it takes longer than that. I had a serious plateau in the middle of my fitness journey and almost felt like giving up. I thought like - maybe this is how I’m meant to be? But I stuck in there - just kept thinking of all the reasons I had to get in shape - Noah, Matthew, my mental health....plus I wanted to be able to wear all my too glam to give a chuffin damn outfits with confidence!!"

Fans are pleased to see her smiling again after, at the start of this month, Charlotte opened up about her distressing online trolling ordeal. She was inundated with support after she told about being 'targeted' on social media in an emotional video on Instagram.

She broke down in tears as she revealed she's been viciously trolled by someone who anonymously reported her to social services with false claims. "I've had this one person for a while now, probably like a year, maybe two years constantly stalking me, sending me messages all the time, nasty messages every single day about, you know, the way I look, what I'm doing, how I'm parenting, you know, what me and Matthew are doing," she said.

"Even my sister who lost her husband who tragically killed himself, she gets messages about, about him, about what she's doing. My mum gets messages, I get messages about my dad's side of the family, nasty messages about everything that you could imagine. There's just no need and people know absolutely nothing about."

Charlotte shared upsetting details about how she is being targeted including how the individual constantly sets up new accounts with various different images as the profile photographs including of her late father and his ex wife Meg. She also said the trolling had made her consider quitting social media altogether.

"So this is meant to be a place where I work, I talk to you all, I show you all my life, I open up to all of you and obviously that is that is what I do," she continued. "I love doing it. I've been doing it for a few years. I love being on TV. I love being on stage. I'm just that type of character but when you get this type of trolling, it really does knock you and it makes you not want to be on Instagram anymore. It makes it a horrible place," she said.

Charlotte got particularly upset when she revealed an anonymous phone call had been made to social services with false claims about her parenting. She wrote alongside the video: "As new parents trying there absolute hardest to be the best we can be for our son we don’t need evil things like this coming in our way. This is just too far now. Not letting this weirdo or weirdos win anymore."
