Charlotte Crosby’s fiancé Jake Ankers has revealed the pregnant star and their young daughter are safe following a terrifying break-in.
The former Geordie Shore star’s £1 million home in Sunderland was targeted by a gang of four masked raiders armed with a machete on Thursday.
Crosby - who is heavily pregnant with her second child - and her two-year-old daughter Alba Jean were inside when thugs stormed the house.
Ankers has now issued an update to concerned fans on his Instagram Story, revealing police are investigating the incident.
“Thank you everyone for all the messages me and the girls are safe! Very lucky and counting our blessings tonight,” he wrote.
“The police are dealing with this now so hopefully they can get some results and catch these nasty people.”
In an impassioned video hours earlier, Ankers shared his horror that Crosby and their daughter were home at the time of the break-in.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this but some little c***s have tried to rob my house with my two-year-old and my partner who is nearly eight months pregnant, armed with a machete,” he said.
“One of them who was in the house at the top of the stairs had a red balaclava on. He is the one that had the machete. Me little girl’s in the house. Me partner’s in the house.”
He added: "I am f****** amazed I chased all four of them but I could not catch them. If anyone has got any information please message me immediately. One of them was wearing a red balaclava."
Crosby, 34, and Ankers, 33, welcomed their first child, Alba Jean, in 2022.
The MTV star announced in September she was pregnant with their second baby, a girl, who is due in January.
The couple got engaged in November.
