Charlotte Crosby has been flooded with support and messages after she was seen breaking down in tears while telling a friend about her mum's cancer diagnosis. The former Geordie Shore star took to social media to share the emotional scene from her new BBC One show which showed her talk about her mum's diagnosis.
Charlotte initially told her fans the devastating news about mum Letitia, 53, last year after she was told she had breast cancer following a routine check-up. The reality star, who was pregnant with her first child at the time, said her mum had shown no symptoms or signs and revealed she also found a lump in her breast just days after the heartbreaking family news.
"It was just a routine mammogram, I have never missed one. When they told me it was cancer I was floored," Letitia explained to The Sun last year. "I had no symptoms, no lumps, nothing. The mammogram has helped save my life – they should be inviting women of all ages to one every single year. Not just women over 50."

Leticia has since undergone chemotherapy and Charlotte, who has since welcomed daughter Alba Jean with her boyfriend Jake Ankers, said the lump she discovered after checking her own breasts following her mum's diagnosis was "luckily nothing bad."
On her new show, Charlotte in Sunderland, which has been released in full on BBC iPlayer, an emotional Charlotte could be seen telling her friend Lauren about her mum's diagnosis, before sobbing with her hands over her eyes as Lauren put her head in her own hand as she listened to the news.
As the pair sat on a sofa in the clip, which Charlotte reshared alongside BBC Three on Instagram, the new said: "You know me mam had the boob mammogram? So we were waiting for the results and they've come back..." Her face then changed and she began to cry as she said: "She's got breast cancer Lauren. She's a mess."
Later on, Charlotte spoke to the camera as she said: "It's hit us like a ton of bricks. She only went for a routine mammogram. There were no signs and no symptoms so the diagnosis has been a massive shock."
