Charlie Bird will launch his new memoir detailing his struggle with Motor Neuron Disease this weekend.
The former RTE broadcaster has tirelessly campaigned for better awareness of the disease since he went public with his diagnosis in 2021. The memoir, titled ‘Time and Tide’, is published by Harper Collins and will also explore significant periods in his life, such as his time as Washington Correspondent for RTE News.
People will have the opportunity to get their books signed by the author himself at a select number of Eason stores nationwide, including Dundrum, Swords, Lucan and Blanchardstown. Charlie confirmed in a video update that he would attend the Dundrum book signing this weekend along with his beloved dog Tiger.
