Charlie Bird heaps praise on Daniel O'Donnell for 'special moment' after Late Late Show appearance

Charlie Bird has heaped praise upon music legend Daniel O'Donnell for "the loveliest gesture that any human being can do for another" in the wake of their Late Late Show appearances.

Back in December, in an emotional chat with Ryan Tubridy, Charlie spoke about his initial diagnosis of motor neurone's disease.

Daniel was also appearing on the show that evening and the former RTE Washington Correspondent has now opened up on a moment between the pair backstage.
