Charles Dickens threatens to leave town in previously unseen letters

A batch of Charles Dickens’ letters that have remained unseen and unpublished will go on display for the first time on Wednesday 31 August.

The 11 letters include assorted invitation notes and insights into the author’s reading habits and writing projects as well as details about a trip to Switzerland written to a friend.
