Charles Bronson will be eligible for a new parole review after his latest bid was rejected.
One of Britain's most violent offenders reportedly learned of his fate at 11.30am with a letter from the Parole Board.
Bronson, who has spent nearly 50 years in prison, saw this bid for freedom rejected after the board concluded he lacks the "skills to manage his risk of future violence". He was also denied a transfer to an open prison.
