A collective of French charities that has been a persistent critic of the 2024 Paris Olympics have accused organisers of carrying out a 'year of social cleansing' across the capital ahead of the start of the Games.
A new report presented by "The Other Side of the Medal" group – which brings together 80 different charities – said Paris has followed a playbook used by other Olympic host cities by cracking down on migrants, squatters, the homeless and sex workers.
