Jack Osbourne lashes out at being called ‘grossly underweight’ nearly a year after dad Ozzy’s death

Jack Osbourne, the youngest child of the late Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne, has slammed “insane” reports criticizing his physical appearance.

The 40-year-old reality star, who in November competed on the British survival series I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, condemned recent articles written about his weight.

“I cannot believe I’m having to actually make this f***ing video,” Jack said Wednesday in an Instagram video. “If I see one more article written about me saying how I’m ‘sick,’ I’m ‘grossly underweight’, [that I’m] ‘health crisis Jack’… It’s f***ing insane.”

He insisted that he has not lost any weight since he finished filming I’m A Celebrity in Australia more than six months ago.

“I’ve been the same f***ing weight,” he argued. “The only difference is I shaved my beard and opted for a creepy mustache. That’s the only f***ing difference.”

He clarified that he didn’t just recently lose the weight; he has been on a steady weight-loss journey over the past few years.

“I’ve been consistently, but slowly, losing weight for the last three and a half years. I shot up to about 220 lbs three and a half years ago and decided that I wanted to make some changes. So I did! What’s the big f***ing deal?” Jack said.

“I’m 5 foot 8 and a half and 155 lbs,” he continued. “It is perfectly healthy, OK?”

“The fact that I even have to say this blows my mind. My entire life, I was just brutalized by the press about being overweight. And the fact that I get down to a healthy weight, now I’m criticized even more? Get f***ed! This is why no one trusts the press.”

Jack was 15 when he first starred on his family’s four-season reality series, The Osbournes. He was 19 by the time it finished in 2005. The MTV show followed the everyday lives of Ozzy, Sharon and two of their three children, Jack and Kelly. Their eldest child, Aimee, opted out of the series to preserve her privacy.

Ozzy, who died last July at the age of 76 from a heart attack, was married to the former X Factor judge for 43 years. The British singer-songwriter, affectionately known as The Prince of Darkness, was first married to Thelma Riley from 1971 to 1982. They shared three children: Jessica, Louis and Elliot, Riley’s son from a previous relationship, whom Ozzy adopted.
