If you stayed up to watch Thursday Night Football, you saw a Los Angeles Chargers team get pummeled by the Las Vegas Raiders which was followed by the Chargers ownership firing head coach Brandon Staley along with general manager Tom Telesco.
The move definitely got our wheels turning as it relates to the Pittsburgh Steelers and head coach Mike Tomlin. There are a great number of parallels between the Steelers and Chargers including and sputtering offense, an injured franchise quarterback and an underperforming defense full of talent.
If the Steelers lose this week to the Indianapolis Colts, it would be three games in a row and likely keep Pittsburgh out of the playoffs. Would that be enough to push ownership to fire Tomlin with three games left to play?
