The Chargers signed Jackson this off-season to a five-year deal, worth over $80 million. Jackson is coming off his first Pro Bowl season, and is largely regarded as one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL today.
Jackson did not practice with the team on Monday, due to an “undisclosed” injury. The surgery has been described as a “minor scope:”
