Channing Tatum has accused his ex-wife Jenna Dewan of employing a 'delay tactic' in their ongoing divorce proceedings. According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Tatum claims that Dewan's motion to dismiss his legal team is an attempt to prolong the divorce case.
Tatum's attorneys assert that he has made extensive efforts to settle all issues without litigation, including multiple settlement proposals, mediations, and drafts of a proposed judgment. However, Dewan alleges a conflict of interest on Tatum's legal team, accusing them of selling parts of his business entities.
In response, Dewan denies Tatum's claims and accuses him of stalling the trial proceedings by withholding relevant documents related to 'Magic Mike' transactions. She argues that Tatum is depriving her of a fair share of the community estate and benefiting unfairly from the delay.
The divorce between Dewan and Tatum was initiated in October 2018, citing irreconcilable differences. While the divorce was finalized the following year, unresolved issues remain regarding property settlement and custody arrangements for their 11-year-old daughter, Everly.
Tatum has since moved on and is currently dating Zoë Kravitz, with reports of an engagement in 2023. Dewan, on the other hand, is engaged to Steve Kazee and has two children with him. The couple welcomed a son, Callum, and a daughter, Rhiannon.
