Channel 5 defends Huw Edwards drama following disgraced presenter’s claims

  • Channel 5 commissioners defended the programme, stating it was based on extensive interviews, legal checks, and that allegations were put to Edwards' solicitors six weeks prior.
  • Channel 5 confirmed they would not be interested in airing Edwards' own account of the events, which he stated he plans to produce.
