Channel 5 has apologised to a 'vulnerable' pensioner who was left distraught after appearing on reality show Can't Pay? We'll Take It Away!.

Brian Hitchin, 88, has launched legal action against the company after he previously starred in series four, episode 16 - claiming there was "misuse" of his private information through the "filming, making and multiple broadcasts" of the episode.
