Channel 4 has temporarily taken A Place in the Sun off air.
The popular property show, featuring much-loved presenters such as Jonnie Irwin and Laura Hamilton, will not be broadcast either today, on March 9, or tomorrow on March 10. Coverage of Crufts will be aired instead.
Today, the Clare Balding presented dog show will air from 3pm until 4pm with A New Life in the Sun being broadcast right after. Tomorrow will follow the same schedule.

Crufts will feature live judging as proud owners show off their four-legged companions. There will also be highlights from the main arena and a look at the serious side of dog breeding and ownership, with an emphasis on health and welfare.
Next week, from Monday, March 13, Tool Club will be shown in place of A Place in the Sun from 3pm until 4pm. The show gives people the skills and confidence to tackle DIY challenges themselves, with the help of experts Max McMurdo, Julia Miller-Osborn and Jess Grizzle.
At this time it is unclear when A Place in the Sun will next air. Liverpool ECHO have approached Channel 4 for comment.
