Gogglebox star Mica Ven has sent a message to those 'trying to stay afloat' after suffering a death in the family. The Channel 4 regular, who appears on the hit show with long-term partner Marcus Luther, shared an emotional post with her thousands of followers earlier this week.
She posted a photo of a swan swimming in crystal clear waters as well as quotes with lines such as "strong people break too" and "friends that understand your anti-social phases are important."
Mica typed alongside her post: "Don’t mind me cos I’m not staying long, Just thought I’d come on to send love to my fellow Swans who are also outere gliding majestically across the water while your feet paddle like hell to stay afloat. You got this." She went on: "To everyone that has sent love, prayers, concern, well wishes and condolences to our family, on behalf of Marky & I we thank you @therealmarcusluther."
She added: "I Hope you all have a blessed day and remember to enjoy each other, blow the dust off them board games, catch some joke, life and memories are so precious. Sending nufffffff love, Big Meesh."
Gym owner Marcus was the one to share the sad news of their loss on his Instagram page. "As most of you may already know, I have had a bereavement in my family," he revealed. "As a result, the gym will be closed today. Both children and adult sessions are cancelled whilst my family celebrate the life of our loved one."
Fans were quick to send love and support to the pair as they flooded their posts with well-wishes. @sharontaylor373 said: "Sending love, light healing and positive vibes back to you and your family." @bubaliciousbabycakez23_ posted: "Sending love & prayers to you all.. Earlier this year, Mica shared her joy as she revealed she had become a grandmother for the first time. She gave fans a peek of the little one, named Koko on Instagram, where she posted a clip showing off the baby’s tiny feet while Mica, 43, beamed in the background
Mica captioned the reel at the time: "Don’t mind me, I’m just round here enjoying Granternity leave from work. Blessed & grateful beyond measure to have our 1st grandchild. She’s beautiful, she’s healthy and I’m gonna try my very best as her granny to remember She’s not actually mine. But she’s MINE." She went on to write: "Welcome to this crazy world Koko. You’ll grow up to be well respected & well protected in these streets."
