Channel 4 Gogglebox star Georgia Bell shares pregnancy stress

Gogglebox star Georgia Bell has given viewers an insight into her birth preparations ahead of her upcoming due date.

The Channel 4 show regular is due to welcome her first child with boyfriend, Josh, in July. But the pair might have a few details left to sort out, as she revealed to her pal Abbie Lynn on Friday night.

Confiding in her best friend, Georgia shared she was surprised by her midwife's recommendation to pack a hospital bag, as the Manchester Evening News reports.

She explained: "Went to the midwife the other day and she said, ‘oh you should start packing your hospital bag'. Georgia continued: "I went 'you what?', she went, 'you know, your little hospital bag', and I said 'what the hell do I put in that?'."

"What do you put in a hospital bag?" she asked Abbie, before adding the midwife had suggested including snacks in case the new parents get hungry. "She gave us a good few ideas, but the one thing she kept stressing about was snacks," Georgia said.

Thankfully, Abbie was on hand to share advice. She said: "You know what there’s a little café in the hospital that you’re going to and they do some alright food in there. My dad once had a cheesy bean jacket potato there, so if Josh gets hungry he can go down to the café and get something there."

But Georgia replied: "What if he misses the birth of his son, and he’s sat there eating a jacket potato?" Abbie joked back: “Oh God, yeah…that’s the risk you’ve gotta take!"
