Channel 4 Gogglebox fans beg for one 'annoying' family to be removed, whilst others defend them

The latest instalment of Gogglebox hit television screens up and down the country on Friday evening (March 11). Fans of the hit Channel 4 show sat down and watched the fourth episode of the 19th series, which, as always, saw the beloved cast sit down and watch the week's television.

Friday's show saw the families, couples and friends sit down to watch Channel 4's Naked Attraction, which involves singles stripping their clothes off in a bid to win a date with someone who likes the look of their body. The programme essentially sees people go through the dating process in reverse, and involves a lot of full-frontal nudity.

Whilst some members of the Gogglebox cast were made to feel uncomfortable, some of their reactions had fans in fits of laughter. But others seemed to be less than impressed with one family, demanding they are removed from the show, BirminghamLive reports.

Hailing from Essex, The Baggs family joined Gogglebox back in 2020, during series 16. The family consists of Lisa and Terry, and their children, George and Joe.

Viewers have branded the family as 'annoying', with some getting annoyed with Gogglebox for keeping them on the show. JKay2021 said: "For crying out loud, #gogglebox - the last thing we want is you trying to PROMOTE the flipping annoying Baggs family to us! We’re begging you to get rid of them!!"

I Don't Know Her added: "Get the Baggs off #Gogglebox." Stephanie questioned: "Why are the Baggs still on here, they're not entertaining at all #Gogglebox."

Meanwhile, other viewers defended the family. Mikrogalaxies wrote: "Seems to be an unpopular opinion, but I love the Baggs family #Gogglebox"

Neill S Rich said: "#gogglebox I adore the baggs Family, don't axe them just because of a few miserable w*****s on here. @C4Gogglebox". Alex said: "The Baggs family don't need to be axed, they are a family who are entertaining, and these people who think the family need to be axed, need to understand that their is bigger issues going on in the world #Gogglebox"
