Channel 4's popular matchmaking show First Dates is relocating to a new restaurant to mark ten years on screens. The broadcaster has revealed the city of Bath will be the new filming location for the famous First Dates restaurant.
Previously the series has taken place in London and then Manchester. The move is part of the production company's ongoing commitment to the UK regions, where a number of the production team will be based out of the company’s new regional hub in Bristol.
The new season will see a fresh line-up of blind daters when filming will take place this summer at The Botanist bar & restaurant in Bath. The Botanist restaurant site is inside the Grade II listed Octagon Chapel, built in 1766.
