With just a few months left in the job, Mayor of Liverpool Joanne Anderson has carried out what are likely to be the final changes to her cabinet line-up over recent weeks.
Mayor Anderson was elected in May 2021 following the dramatic fall out from the Max Caller government inspector report and the resignation of former mayor Joe Anderson. But after just two years in the role she will leave the council this coming May after the local authority voted to remove the mayoral position and revert to a leader and cabinet model.
But before she departs the political stage, Mayor Anderson has concluded some changes to her top team over the past few weeks. Last week the ECHO revealed that Cllr Frazer Lake, who was already the cabinet member for adult and children's social care has now also been made deputy mayor with statutory duties including filling in for the mayor if she is unavailable.

Cllr Jane Corbett will continue as a deputy mayor but with non-statutory duties. She will also continue as the cabinet member for fairness and tackling poverty.
Another recent change has come with Mayor Anderson now taking on the cabinet portfolio for neighbourhoods. She takes this position over from Cllr Liam Robinson, who held the portfolio on an interim basis after Cllr Abdul Qadir stood down last year amid an investigation.
Cllr Robinson - who is the new Liverpool Labour group leader and will become leader of the council if his party remain the largest after May's elections - is now the cabinet member for finance.
Cllr Paul Brant, who was brought back into the fold by Mayor Anderson as assistant mayor for finance last year, has now become assistant mayor for transformation. Cllr Sarah Doyle remains in place as another assistant mayor and cabinet member for development and economy. Cllr Harry Doyle is no longer an assistant mayor, but continues as cabinet member for culture and the visitor economy.
Other cabinet positions have remained the same. This includes education and skills member Cllr Tom Logan, climate change and environment lead Cllr Dan Barrington and equality, diversion and inclusion cabinet member Cllr Pam Thomas.
