CHANDIGARH/PANCHKULA/MOHALI: Chandigarh reported four Covid cases on Monday while one patient was discharged. There are 6 active cases and positivity rate has been recorded at 0.73%. Mohali reported one fresh Covid case and no death on Monday. Of the 95,711 cases reported so far, 94,547 patients have been cured. There are 15 active cases. Meanwhile, 1,344 people were vaccinated in Mohali on Monday. The first dose was administered to 374 including 69 in the age group of 15-17 and the second to 746 including 119 in the age group of 15-17 while 207 in the 12 to 14 year age group were vaccinated. As many as 244 received the booster dose.
Panchkula did not report any Covid case on Monday, which leaves the district with only five active cases. Chief medical officer (CMO) Dr Mukta Kumar said this was a good sign but vigilance was still needed. So far, 44,138 Covid cases have been reported in the district. Of these, 43,719 patients have been cured and discharged.
