CHANDIGARH: To solve the ever-increasing parking problem in the city, the Rail India Technical and Economic Services (RITES) in its interim report has suggested nine more multilevel parkings in the city for 16,000 vehicles.
The RITES has suggested four more multilevel parkings in Sector 17, that adjacent to Anand cinema; adjacent to KC cinema; near ISBT and near electric sub-station. The RITES has suggested one each at ISBT, Sector 43; near judicial academy, Sector 43; and sub city centre, Sector 34. Two multilevel parkings are proposed at IT Park.
