Chandigarh: After complaint, Prime minister’s office asks administration for reply on property tax in colonies

CHANDIGARH: The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has intervened in the ongoing issue of imposing property tax on thousands on residents in colonies, seeking a reply from the UT administration.

A letter was sent through the Centralised Public Grievances Redressal and Management System (CPGRAMS) to the administration and subsequently forwarded to the municipal corporation (MC).
