The postponement of Rangers' second Champions League group stage clash was earlier confirmed by UEFA.
The change sees the Ibrox side welcome Napoli 24 hours later than initially planned, playing the match on Wednesday evening instead of Tuesday. The change comes due to policing worries amid ongoing events following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. And the move means that both Rangers and Celtic will play their second clashes of the competition on Wednesday evening. Ange Postecoglou 's side are on their European travels for the first time this term, making the journey to Poland to take on the Ukrainian side in a tea time kick-off.
Gio van Bronckhorst and his men play hosts to Napoli, with the Serie A side visiting Govan on the back of a convincing 4-1 victory over last year finalist Liverpool. But the Italians will play this week's tie without any fans in support, with the UEFA decision limiting Ibrox to home support only on the new date. Liverpool are the only other UK club due to be in action on Tuesday, with their fellow Group A game against Ajax going ahead as planned. There are a host of exciting encounters kicking off in the competition elsewhere this week, too.
