Champions League final 2022 Liverpool vs Real Madrid: Kick-off time, where it is, TV channel and live stream

Liverpool will face Real Madrid in the 2022 Champions League Final on Saturday (May 28).

The Reds claimed their place in the final by beating Villarreal 5-2 on aggregate in their semi-final showdown. Real Madrid faced Manchester City in a tense semi-final second leg and prevailed 6-5 on aggregate.

Liverpool previously took on Real Madrid in the 2018 Champions League final in Kyiv. The Spanish giants won, beating Liverpool 3-1 as two goalkeeping blunders from Loris Karius gifted goals to Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale.

But with two domestic cup wins this season already, Liverpool look strong in their quest for a seventh Champions League trophy.

When is the final of Champions League?

Liverpool will meet Real Madrid for the Champions League final on Saturday, May 28.

The Reds booked their place in the final after beating Spanish side Villarreal 5-2 on aggregate. Real Madrid won 6-5 on aggregate against Manchester City.

What time is the Champions League final and what time is kick-off?

Coverage for the Champions League final begins at 6pm. BT Sport's live coverage of the match will begin at 6pm with two hours build-up.

Kick-off for the Champions League final is at 8pm (BST) in the UK and 9pm local time in France.

Where is the Champions League final?

The Champions League final in 2022 is being held at Stade de France in Paris. It last hosted the final in 2006.

The 2022 final was supposed to be held at the Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg, but following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, UEFA confirmed that the final would be moved to the Stade de France.

How to watch the Champions League final

The Champions League final will be broadcasted live on BT Sport 1 HD and in ultra-definition on BT Sport Ultimate from 6pm.

There will also be a live stream on the BT Sport app. Non-subscribers will also have the option of watching the Champions League final for free through the BT Sport YouTube channel.
