Euronews is reporting from Ceuta, where authorities are working to restore order after the unprecedented influx of migrants. Along the breakwater where at least 60,000 people crossed irregularly, workers have begun installing new protective barriers in an effort to prevent another mass arrival.
Despite those efforts, the effects of the crisis remain visible. Euronews found migrants still wandering the streets, while authorities believe an unknown number are hiding in the homes of friends and relatives.
