Cesc Fabregas delivers verdict on Mikel Arteta and the title race ahead of Arsenal vs Man United

Cesc Fabregas has had his say on Arsenal's chances of winning this season's Premier League title.

Mikel Arteta's men currently find themselves five points clear of second-placed Manchester City, who they also have a game in hand on. However, they face one of the most in-form teams in the division next in the form of Erik ten Hag's Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

"We all know that I think everyone at the club is aware about it, Mikel the first, but the input he wants to put into the players’ heads, the message is that they have to go all-in, because as I said it would be a great statement for the team, for the confidence, for the Premier League, it is a message to say ‘hey, we are here, we want to win it.’

"Fifty points in the middle of the season, it’s still a long a way to go, they still have to play Europa League, that is another thing we need to see how Mikel manages, if he will play the starting XI or if we will keep all the firepower for the Premier League.

"But the most important thing is today that Arsenal show the passion that they have been showing and get a good result."
