Visitors have just days left to take advantage of discounted tickets for Life Science Centre in Newcastle before it closes for the bulk of January.
The city attraction in Times Square will be shutting its doors on January 9, for three weeks of work and upgrades, so families are being urged to fit in a visit now. And they will be able to take advantage of a special offer allowing entry for just £5.

The venue's chief executive Linda Conlon said: “We recognise that with the rising cost of living, it’s a tough time for everyone.
