CentralWorld invites everyone to celebrate Thai New Year in a way that help preserves Thai culture during "CentralWorld Songkran Festival 2022" until Sunday.
The festival is packed with non-wet Thai cultural activities presented in a contemporary style to keep all visitors happy on this auspicious occasion.
Shoppers are invited to pay respect to Buddha statues and relics for blessing, witness the old market atmosphere at the "Tassana Rattanakosin" fair, and shop for outstanding items from all 50 districts of Bangkok.
Discover a variety of flowers at the "DoiTung x CentralWorld Present Summer Blooming 2022" fair, which replicates the atmosphere of a bamboo arch on top of a hill and showcases the country's first 3.5m-tall rainbow sculpture of Nong Toh, a lucky animal of the Tai Yai people in northern Thailand.
Then, indulge in a selection of sumptuous street food and browse through fresh produce directly from farms across the country at the "Ching Chai Farmers' Market" at the Hug Thai zone on the 1st floor.
A range of chic handicraft products from the North are available and interested visitors are invited to have their future read by fortune tellers at the "World Of Fortune" fair. Also, expect to enjoy many cultural shows from all four regions.
Exclusively from today to Friday, special activities will be presented in the afternoon at Square D in front of the shopping mall.
Activities include a mini khon masked dance, a live concert by Pixxie and Bamm and an Isan cultural performance today; traditional Thai music by Suwannahong Band, a live concert by Patrick Ananda and a southern cultural show tomorrow; and a live concert by Rooftop and a traditional Lanna performance on Friday.
